The key determining factor in the project was space requirements for the manufacturing facilities. For this purpose, we first determined the current and possible manufacturing equipment as well as their space requirements. Then we analyzed the manufacturing process, the relationship between manufacturing, staff spaces and management spaces. We tried to achieve optimum planning with the obtained data.
The sloping site allowed for the formation of a three-storey structure consisting of a sub-basement floor, basement floor, and ground floor. The sub-basement floor, which also had the facility’s main entrance, featured technical volumes, production sections and staff-specific spaces. The basement floor included management offices, seminar halls, and cafeteria. On the other hand, we planned an area of nearly 5,000 square meters, which we defined as the ground floor, completely for production.
